This topic is very newsworthy for me as a bladder cancer patient. The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) has been most helpful to me for information and support. The fellow patients that I’ve been able to write to through the "Inspire" blog has helped me immensely. The BCAN mission is to increase public awareness about bladder cancer, advance bladder cancer research, and provide educational and support services for the bladder cancer community.
Through advocacy, awareness, research and educational programs, BCAN is providing help and hope for those impacted by this life changing disease. Funds generated through our national BCAN Walk to End Bladder Cancer events support these initiatives and other mission programs, including:
•Patient Insight Webinars
•Free education resources
•Bladder Cancer Think Tank
•Bladder Cancer Summit
•Survivor 2 Survivor Program
•Bladder Cancer Research Awards
