Adult Summer Reading is back with exciting new challenges: space-themed Book Bingo, and the Galactic Race, in which duos compete by scavenging items, sounds, and smells from around the East End. Race every Saturday, from July 6 to August 24. Sign up by 5:00 pm on July 2. The team to vanquish their opponents over the course of eight Saturdays will be awarded the grand prize at our end-of-summer event on Saturday, August 31 at 1:00 PM.
Jump ‘n’ Jive: Swing Dance Lessons! Edwin & Maria Urbat, the husband-and-wife dance team from Swing Dance Long Island, will be here on Saturday, July 13 at 1:00 PM to show you how to jitterbug, Lindy Hop, and boogie-woogie. No partner needed. All ages welcome! Registration required.

Have your paper clutter shredded by a professional and secure shred truck for free at our Annual Community Shred Day. Friday, July 12, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Too busy on Shred Day? Make an appointment to drop your documents off early! Please note: Plastic, carbon paper, hanging files, Redweld folders, cardboard, newspaper, and magazines CANNOT be accepted. Clips and staples, however, CAN go through the shredder.
